Vladimir Iljitsch Lenin
The bust sculpture of V.I. Lenin by Mihail Anikushin (1917–1997) was made in 1977 of bronze, height 0,8 m, the pedestal is made from red granite, height 1,7 m. The sculpture was given to the City of Turku as a gift from the City of Leningrad (today St. Petersburg) in 1977. The bronze sculpture was cast in Monument Sculptura foundry in Leningrad. The pedestal was manufactured by Loimaan Kiviveistämö. The sculpture was unveiled on Leningrad Day 13 November 1977.
